Build By SS (“Build By SS”, “we”, “our”, “us”) operates BuildBySS.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information. For the initial launch period, our services are intended only for users located in India and are operated from India.

1. Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies only to users in India. We do not intentionally market or provide services to individuals outside India during the current phase.

2. Compliance with Indian Law

We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and other applicable laws and regulations.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect your name, email address, optional mobile number, Google account information (name, email, profile picture if authorized), account credentials (passwords are stored only as secure hashes), learning progress, certificates, purchase history, invoices, download history, IP address, browser/device information, cookies, analytics data and communications with us.

4. Google Sign-In

If you choose Google Sign-In, we collect only the information you authorize. We request only the minimum information required to create and manage your account.

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Build By SS does not store your debit card, credit card, UPI PIN or banking credentials.

6. Learning Records

We store enrollments, lesson progress, completion status, certificates, downloads and related activity to deliver the learning experience.

7. AI Features

AI features may temporarily process and store prompts and responses for service delivery, troubleshooting and quality improvement. Do not submit confidential, proprietary, financial, medical or other sensitive information. AI responses are for educational purposes and should be independently verified before production or other high-risk use.

8. Community Requests

Project ideas and suggestions are submitted voluntarily. They may influence future courses or content. Submission does not create ownership rights, confidentiality obligations, compensation rights or any partnership unless agreed in writing.

9. User Content

Users remain responsible for content they submit. We may remove unlawful, abusive, infringing, misleading, spam or harmful content.

10. Cookies

Cookies may be used for login sessions, security, preferences (including theme preference), analytics and essential website functionality.

11. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand website usage and improve our services.

12. Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare to improve security, performance and availability. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses and request metadata.

13. Downloads

We may record download history and timestamps for licensing, fraud prevention and customer support.

14. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all videos, source code, graphics, templates, downloads, lessons and other educational materials remain the intellectual property of Build By SS.

15. Licence Restrictions

Users may not redistribute, resell, mirror, record, scrape, upload, share paid resources or share account access.

16. Anti-Piracy

Accounts involved in piracy, credential sharing, automated scraping or other misuse may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.

17. Code & Software Disclaimer

Sample code and downloadable software are provided for educational purposes. Users are responsible for testing and validating code before deploying it in production.

18. Educational Platform Disclaimer

Build By SS is an educational platform. We do not guarantee employment, freelance work, business success, certifications accepted by third parties or financial outcomes.

19. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

20. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Tax invoices and legally required records may be retained for the period required by law.

21. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account. Information required for legal, taxation or fraud-prevention purposes may be retained.

22. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not intended for children below the minimum age permitted under applicable Indian law.

23. Security

We use reasonable safeguards including HTTPS, secure authentication, access controls and regular security practices. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

24. Third-Party Services

Our platform currently integrates Google OAuth, Razorpay, Cloudflare and Google Analytics. These providers operate under their own privacy policies.

25. Legal Disclosure

We may disclose information where required by law, court order or lawful requests from competent authorities.

26. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version becomes effective when published with a revised date.
